Trude is happy to share her impressions from her expedition cruise to Svalbard.

Services included: 

  • 4-day (3 nights) Hurtigruten Expedition cruise from/to Longyearbyen including all landings with small boats and activities on board and ashore.
  • Accommodation in 2-berth polar inside cabin with private bathroom with shower/WC (cabin category I).
  • Full board during the cruise 
    • Breakfast and lunch are served as a buffet with free seating.
    • Dinner is either served as a buffet or a set meal with fixed tables (might be a shared table with other guests).
    • Still water and tea/coffee during all meals (tap water in your cabin is drinkable).
  • 2 hotel overnights in Longyearbyen in a standard room including private bathroom with shower/WC, including breakfast.
  • Light dinner at the hotel on day 1.
  • Light lunch and farewell dinner at the hotel upon return to Longyearbyen.
  • Transfer from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport.
  • 3-hour sightseeing tour in Longyearbyen incl. Museum and Camp Barentz, ending at the pier.
  • Transfer from the ship to the hotel in Longyearbyen.
  • Professional English-speaking expedition team that accompanies landings and activities and gives lectures (usually on shore).
  • Loan of trekking poles and thermal suits for activities.
