Authentic Scandinavia operates in compliance with the EU Package Travel Directive.

All payments towards our multi-day tour packages fall under this EU law and are covered by an insurance policy that guarantees a refund in the unlikely event of insolvency. Authentic Scandinavia has a travel guarantee through Kammarkollegiet, the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency, a state authority under the Ministry of Finance.

If the travel services you have booked cannot be delivered due to the unlikely event of Authentic Scandinavia’s insolvency, you can contact Kammarkollegiet to apply for a refund for services booked through us.

We strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance that includes cancellation cover. This ensures financial protection in case of flight cancellations, travel delays, baggage delays or loss, and unexpected illness or injury during your trip.

We also recommend making sure that your travel insurance covers the specific activities and excursions included in your trip booked with Authentic Scandinavia.

Travel insurance can be bought in your home country or from an online provider such as WorldNomads. Some credit card companies include travel insurance as well. Please contact your provider for more information.
