Reine Rorbuer is located on Moskenes Island. All standard cabins, or rorbuer as they are called in Norwegian, have their own bathroom and almost all have a fully equipped kitchenette for those who want to cook themselves. Meals are not included in the stay. Wi-Fi is available in all cabins.
On the Lofoten Islands, we can offer you a unique kind of accommodation - a stay in a rorbu (a traditional wooden fishermen's cabin). Today most of the cabins are rented out to visitors and they vary in shape, size, and standard.
Reine Rorbuer consists of 39 comfortable fisherman's cabins that have been recently restored and combine the atmosphere of their old use as fishermen's homes with modern comfort.
The standard cabins (comfort cabins) are located more centrally on the island without a view on the sea. The cabins are designed to give you the authentic feel featuring a small lounge and kitchenette (some exceptions apply), bathroom with WC/Shower. Some comfort cabins will have a separate bedroom. Wi-Fi is available in all cabins.
When booking a triple room you will stay at a 2-bedroom cabin.
No meals are included during your stay at the Reine Rorbuer, but you can prepare your own meals in the rorbu or you can book a table at the restaurant Gammelbua. Bed linen and final cleaning are included in the price.
