The cabins and historical houses at Svinøya Rorbu park are idyllically located between the fish landing station, quayside buildings, fish racks and old local buildings. We have the open ocean on one side, and the spectacular Lofoten mountains on the other. A vibrant fishing village in the town of Svolvær with stories to tell. From the rorbu village it takes only 10-15 minute walk to the local shopping mall with further activities and restaurants close by.
Although the rorbu cabins are not built on stilts like typical rorbu, the layout and shape is distinctive to a classic rorbu. Each of the rorbu cabins has its own unique charm, character, and story to tell and not one rorbu will look identical. However, all rorbuers consist of one bedroom, a modern bathroom with shower and toilet, living room and a basic kitchenette.
