Enjoy a thrilling snowmobile adventure in the arctic forest. The best way to see the landscape in Finnish Lapland is by taking off with a snowmobile. You will be picked up from Kakslauttanen, provided with a thermal outfit and with instructions on how to steer the snowmobile.
Head into the wilderness and get immersed into the arctic nature. Half way it is time for a break. When you turn off the engine you can almost hear the silence of the wilderness and you will be served a delicious soup lunch by the open fire. After lunch, it is time to continue the adventure before heading back to Kakslauttanen.
You will be driving the snowmobile in pairs, one person driving and the other one sitting in the back, you can swap half way. It is possible to ride in the back of a sleigh pulled by a snowmobile (no price reduction given) or to drive your own snowmobile (additional cost). If you are interested in one of these options, please let us kow during the booking process. Please note that the single driving supplement is mandatory if travelling on your own.

Approx. 30% discount (0-11 years). Children under the age of 4 must sit in the sled together with one adult. Children need to be min 130 cm tall to sit on a snowmobile. Children shorter than this can sit in a sleigh pulled by the guide’s snowmobile.

Transfers, guide, thermal clothing (warm overall, winter boots, gloves, warm hat), snowmobile mask, helmet, 2-2,5 hours snowmobile safari, hot drink and lunch.
Special conditions: The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age. A valid driving license is required to be allowed to drive a snowmobile. A minimum 2 participants. If travelling alone you can still book this experience as there might be other travelers participating. For safety reasons, women who are pregnant cannot join this activity.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions not permit to run the tour as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
