Enjoy a thrilling snowmobile ride in the arctic forest. The best way to see the landscape in Finnish Lapland is by riding a snowmobile. You will head into the wilderness and get immersed into the arctic nature.
You will be picked up from Kakslauttanen, provided with a thermal outfit and with instructions on how to steer the snowmobile. You will be driving the snowmobile in pairs, one person driving and the other one sitting in the back, you can swap half way. After the safari, you can have a cup of hot juice and a Finnish treat before heading back to Kakslauttanen.
It is possible to ride in the back of a sleigh pulled by a snowmobile (no price reduction given) or to drive your own snowmobile (additional cost). If you are interested in one of these options, please let us kow during the booking process. Please note that the single driving supplement is mandatory if travelling on your own.

Approx. 35% discount (0-11 years). Children under the age of 4 must sit in the sled together with one adult. Children need to be min 130 cm tall to sit on a snowmobile. Children shorter than this can sit in a sleigh pulled by the guide’s snowmobile.

Transfers, guide, thermal clothing (warm overall, winter boots, gloves, warm hat), snowmobile mask, helmet, 45-minute snowmobile safari, hot drink and a sweet treat.
Special conditions: The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age. A valid driving license is required. A minimum 2 participants. If travelling alone you can still book this experience as there might be other travelers participating. For safety reasons, women who are pregnant cannot join this activity.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions not permit to run the tour as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
