The perfect snowmobile experience for those who want to learn and drive their own snowmobile combined with the opportunity of exploring the untouched Finnmarksvidda.
You will be met by your guide in the Bjørnfjell mountain lodge lobby before changing into warm attire. Prior to the safari, you will receive the necessary equipment and an introduction about how to drive your snowmobile and what the driving rules are.
After the instructions, you will head out into the wilderness. You begin the drive through the deep green forest that surrounds Bjørnfjell before heading into the open Finnmarksvidda. There will be several stops in-between to take some pictures, and enjoy some snacks and a hot drink.
The trails together are approximately 25 kilometres, which means that you will be driving your snowmobile for approx. 2,5 hours. You drive in pairs and have the option to switch halfway through the tour, but there is also an opportunity to drive the snowmobile yourself for additional costs. Please let us know if you wish to drive your own snowmobile during the booking process.

Thermal clothing (overall, boats, balaklava, gloves), snowmobile, guiding, hot drink and small snack.
Special conditions: A minimum of 2 participants and a maximum of 5. If travelling alone, you can still book this experience as there might be other travellers participating.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions prevent the tour from running as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
A driver's licence is required to drive the snowmobile.
