This evening begins with a traditional Sami dinner of "bidos", a hearty reindeer stew, at Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge. After the meal, you will meet your guide in the lobby, get dressed in a thermal snowsuit, mittens, boots and helmet and receive a brief driving instruction and safety briefing.
As you ride through the Finnmark tundra, far from any light pollution, your guide will take the group to areas with the best conditions for viewing the Northern Lights. When the sky is clear, you may enjoy the sight of the aurora dancing above. Two people will share a snowmobile and can switch drivers during the tour. If you wish to ride your own snowmobile for the entire duration, please let us know at the time of booking. Please note that the single driver supplement is mandatory if travelling alone.

Approx. 30% discount (3-12 years). Depending on the guests' comfort level, the child may either sit in front of the driver or ride with an adult in a sledge pulled behind the snowmobile.

Special conditions: Snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years of age. A valid driving license is required. Minimum of 2 participants. If travelling alone you can still book this experience as there might be other travellers participating. For safety reasons, pregnant travellers cannot join this activity.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions prevent the tour from running as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
Northern Lights: Kindly note that Northern Lights observations are never guaranteed (they depend on solar activity and a clear sky). No refund can be made for activities booked if you do not see the Northern Lights.
