Step into the world of Lapland’s most iconic animals and the ancient traditions of the Sámi people on this Arctic experience in Kilpisjärvi. Surrounded by snowy fells and peaceful wilderness, you will visit a local reindeer farm where herding has been a way of life for generations.
During the visit to the local reindeer farm, you will learn about the traditional Sámi way of life, including the annual cycle of reindeer herding, age-old customs, and clothing.
You will have the chance to feed the reindeer by hand, sharing a quiet and unforgettable moment outdoors with these gentle creatures. The experience continues in a cosy hut, where you will enjoy a hot drink and sweet pastry by the crackling fireplace.
