The Komsio and Kammi suites provide real Arctic luxury. Here you will sleep comfortably in your own private nest under the starry sky under the heated panorama glass roof, ideal for cosy views of the Northern Lights. Minimum 2–3 nights total stay, depending on the season.
Apukka Resort is located in the taiga forest just outside Rovaniemi – a perfect getaway to the Finnish winter wonderland.
The two-level luxury glass igloo Kammi / Komsio Suites are equipped with a double bed in the loft and a convertible sofa downstairs, an electric fireplace and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The huts are 28 m² and can sleep up to 4 people. There is a heated glass roof above the bed in the loft ensuring the best possible views of the Northern Lights.
The onsite Aitta restaurant serves delicious Nordic cuisine with a modern twist, using only local ingredients. In the middle of the restaurant is a huge stone fireplace oven where they bake buns and braise wonderful stew. The high windows provide excellent views over the lake.
Apukka Resort has 6 saunas, including an ice sauna, igloo sauna and movable saunas. The surrounding area is a true winter wonderland where you can take part in winter activities such as dog sledding, snowmobile safaris, reindeer safaris as well as heated Snowtrain excursions, where you can ride through the wintry landscape in search of the Northern Lights.
