Far from artificial lights and surrounded by snow-covered fells, this experience invites you to connect with the silence and vastness of Lapland's untouched nature.
The tour begins with a short snowmobile ride through the peaceful tundra to a frozen lake where conditions are perfect for aurora viewing. As you stop and step off the snowmobile, you will find yourself in complete stillness, with wide open skies above.
Travelling by snowmobile is not only an exciting way to travel: it also allows you to reach areas far from light pollution, increasing your chances of seeing the Northern Lights in all their brilliance. Your guide will share information about the unique natural surroundings and take photos of your experience while you enjoy a warm drink and a light snack.
The snowmobile safari includes an experienced guide and an introduction to safe snowmobile driving and riding.
You will share a snowmobile, one driver and one passenger, with the option of switching places halfway. It is also possible to drive your own snowmobile the entire way (additional fee applies). If you are interested in driving your own snowmobile for the whole duration, please let us know during the booking process.

Guide, transfers, snowmobiling 15 km (shared snowmobile), thermal clothing (snowsuit, wool socks, thermal boots, gloves, balaclava, helmet), photos taken by the guide, hot drink and pastry, liability insurance.

Special conditions: You must be at least 18 years old to drive a snowmobile. A valid driving licence is required. Minimum height on snowmobile 140 cm (driver or passenger).
Minimum 2 participants. If travelling alone, you can still book this experience as there might be other travellers participating. The tour is not suitable for pregnant women.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions prevent the tour from running as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
Northern Lights: Kindly note that Northern Lights observations are never guaranteed (they depend on solar activity and a clear sky). No refund can be made for activities booked if you do not see the Northern Lights.
