Experience a culinary evening under the midnight sun in Gällivare, Swedish Lapland. This guided tasting tour introduces you to the region's rich food culture, with fascinating stories about local ingredients and traditions.
You will be picked up in a minibus (max 8 people + guide) from the train station or your hotel and taken to a scenic outdoor location. Beneath the midnight sun, you will savour the essence of the Arctic through a smörgåsbord of local delicacies – from fresh Arctic char from crystal-clear rivers, tender reindeer meat from Sámi herders to seasonal berries bursting with flavour.
The guide will present the food and drinks served, including their origins and the unique processes they undergo. Each ingredient tells a story of the wilderness and the people who live there. Soft drinks featuring local flavours such as lingonberry, blueberry, cloudberry, alcohol-free cider and coffee are included. Special diets can be accommodated with advance notice.
