This excursion provides you with an opportunity to get immersed in Sami culture by meeting a Sami family of reindeer herders on Europe's northernmost mainland.
Learn about the Sami community living in Northern Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia, and how Sami culture and reindeer herding have adapted to modernity.
You will hear about Sami traditions from their characterisitic traditional joik (Sami songs), to handicraft, clothes and nomadic way of life. You will also taste dried reindeer meat.
