Havila shore excursion from Bodø: Join the guided coach tour of Bodø, the lively coastal city above the arctic circle. You will also visit Saltstraumen, the world’s largest tidal current.
You will start with a guided tour of Bodø and will pass by the city's central airport, the aviation museum, the university, as well as the Stormen Library and Concert Hall.
Afterwards, you continue through the beautiful coastal landscape to Saltstraumen. Witness the strongest tidal current in the world. Saltstraumen produces powerful whirlpools which can be up to 10 meters wide and 5 meter deep. Make sure to bring your camera to capture these unforgettable sights.
Afterwards, you will head back to Bodø and rejoin your Havila Voyage ship.

Requirements and clothing: Minimum 12 participants. The strength of the Saltstraumen current is dependent on the tide. Warm windproof clothing and hiking shoes are recommended.
