Embark on a scenic day trip from Bergen to Norheimsund and experience a thrilling 75-minute RIB (rigid inflatable boat) tour through the breathtaking Hardangerfjord, offering stunning views of towering mountains, cascading waterfalls and charming fjord villages.
You will start your day trip with a 1.5-hour scenic bus ride from Bergen to Norheimsund. After gearing up and a brief safety orientation, you will cruise through the Hardangerfjord and into the hidden and roadless Fyksesund fjord branch, surrounded by towering cliffs and waterfalls. You will stop outside the remote, roadless hamlet of Botnen for a glimpse into the past, as your local guide shares captivating stories of the region’s rich culture and history.
Before returning to Bergen by bus, we recommend having lunch in Norheimsund (not included) and an optional walk to the picturesque Steinsdalsfossen waterfall (3 km). You will even have the chance to walk behind it without getting wet, for a truly unforgettable perspective!

Restrictions: This experience is not recommended for travellers with back problems and pregnant travellers (over 3 months).

Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions prevent the tour from running as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
Recommended clothing: Windproof and warm footwear, or waterproof shoes on rainy days, warm layers to wear underneath the flotation suit, buff/neck warmer and insulated mittens/gloves on colder days, sunglasses and sunscreen in sunny weather.
