Explore the stunning city of Ålesund from a new perspective – by kayak! The city is famous for its architecture and beautiful, narrow waterways. Here you will have the chance to see Ålesund from its most beautiful angle – from the water it really looks like the city is floating.
The tour starts at the activity centre in Ålesund, an ideal starting point for kayaking. Before the tour starts, you will go through the gear and receive a short safety briefing and paddling instructions so everyone feels comfortable.
The guides will lead you on your trip through the Brosundet canal and the surrounding areas. Along the way, you will learn fascinating stories about Ålesund’s rich history. During several stops you will have the chance to take a closer look at the local architecture, boats and wildlife.
Each tour is adapted to the group and the weather. It is a fantastic experience for families, beginners, or anyone looking to see Ålesund in a unique and active way.

Guide, dry suit, kayak, paddle, spray skirt, life jacket, it is possible to borrow a paddling jacket.
Restrictions: An average fitness level is required. Participants must be comfortable in the water. Weight limit max. 120 kg. It is not allowed to consume alcohol before or during the tour. No kayaking experience is needed to join.
Bring: Weather appropriate clothing: wind-/waterproof jacket, warm wool/fleece sweater, hat, gloves / sunhat, sunglasses, sunscreen; camera, water, snacks.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions prevent the tour from running as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
