As an alternative to the direct train from Bergen to Oslo, we can offer a beautiful detour via the Nærøyfjord, onboard a new eco-friendly fully-electric vessel and the Flåm Railway.
Departure by train from Bergen to Voss, before continuing by bus to Gudvangen. A 2-hour fjord cruise will bring you along the Nærøyfjord, Europe’s narrowest fjord channel, to Flåm. You will be cruising with a eco-friendly fully-electric vessel which runs on battery power, keeping to a speed of less than 10 knots to allow you to enjoy the scenery to the fullest. Outside the ferry, passengers will be able to climb all over the boat while the inside will feature panoramic views.
In Flåm you will board the Flåm Railway, which passes through wild and beautiful mountain scenery from the Sognefjord reaching up to a height of 900 meters. From Myrdal, you continue by train on the Bergen Line across Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau to Oslo.
