Explore Visby’s historic Old Town on a guided walking tour. The tour offers an introduction to the city’s medieval heritage, historic architecture, and later periods.
The walk includes a visit to St. Mary’s Cathedral and passes stately stone buildings dating from the 13th century, as well as wooden houses from the 18th century. Along the way, the guide provides information about life in medieval Visby and the historical periods that followed.
The tour continues through the town’s narrow streets and alleys. Depending on interest, the route can also include a walk through the Botanical Garden, or you may choose to explore the garden independently after the tour.
Several of Visby’s medieval church ruins are also included along the route.
