This tour is designed to provide a more personal and authentic experience, with a maximum of 12 guests per departure.
It begins in Ålesund harbour, offering views of the city’s well-known Art Nouveau architecture and the surrounding islands. From there, the journey continues into open waters and to selected fishing spots in the area, chosen according to season and weather conditions.
An experienced crew will guide you to locations with the best chances of a successful catch. During the trip, you will also be introduced to local coastal traditions, including how to gut and handle fish properly. Any fish you catch may be taken home as a souvenir from the experience.
On the return to Ålesund, part of the catch is prepared on board, allowing you to taste freshly cooked fish at sea and experience the journey from ocean to table.
