Discover the charming village of Olden and its spectacular surroundings on a guided E-bike tour through one of Norway's most picturesque fjord communities. Cycling at a relaxed pace with the assistance of an electric bike, you will pass waterfalls, mountains and glacier-shaped landscapes while your guide shares stories about local history, culture and the natural forces that shaped this remarkable region.
Following a short bike introduction and safety briefing, you will set off with your guide for a gentle ride around Olden. The electric assistance makes the cycling effortless, letting you take in the scenery and cover more ground than you would on foot.
Along the way you will stop at several of the area's landmarks. At Olden Church you will hear about its history and setting, before continuing to the picturesque Laukifossen waterfall, where your guide will tell you about the salmon that return to these waters every year. The route then continues to Beinnes Beach, offering sweeping views and an explanation of how glaciers shaped the surrounding landscape and gave the nearby lakes their distinctive colour.
A stop at Løken Camping gives you time for a light snack and a chat with your guide about Norwegian culture and everyday life in the region. The cycling portion of the tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.
