This evening, the Northern Lights snowmobile safari offers a one of a kind experience to discover the magic of the snowy forests by night. Given extra light by the white snow reflection or the stars and the moon, you follow the snowmobile trails away from city light of Rovaniemi to look for a perfect spot to admire the sky.
The guide will light up a bonfire and you can enjoy a picnic whilst waiting for the Northern Lights to appear. Grill a snack on the fire and enjoy Lappish berry juice to keep you warm. To take proper photos in darkness, you can bring along a tripod for your camera. The average speed during the snowmobile tour is limited due to the safety and traffic regulations. The tour is suitable for families with children; children will travel in the sleigh pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend having an early dinner at the hotel before departure.
Two adults ride on one snowmobile (additional charge applies if you want to ride your own snowmobile). If you wish to drive your own snowmobile, please let us know during the booking process.

Special conditions: A minimum of 2 participants. If travelling alone, you can still book this experience as there might be other travellers participating. The tour is not suitable for pregnant women. The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid T, A or B driver’s license (i.e. car or motorbike). The driving license must be valid in EU countries. This tour is not suitable for pregnant woman.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions not permit to run the tour as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
