Oslo Wild River Walk

Join a guided hiking tour along the Lysaker River in the green district of Oslo; easily accessible from the city centre. Come to discover beautiful waterfalls and local wildlife as you learn more about Oslo.

The tour will start in the centre of Oslo where you will meet your guide. From there you will travel by public transport to the starting point of the river walk.

The tour starts with a slowly hike down towards the Lysaker river on a charming and accessible way. During the hike in the picturesque forest you will cross bridges, walk past waterfalls and discover local wildlife. After the 2-hour walk you will return to the city centre of Oslo.

Available:

Mondays, Thursdays, Sundays from April 22 to October 31.

Departure:

16:55 hrs from the Oslo Visitor Centre.

Duration:

2,5 - 3 hours (including public transportation).

Guiding:

English.

Child policy:

Children under the age of 12 are free of charge (public transport ticket is required). Please note that the minimum age for this activity is 5 years.

Included:

Guided hiking trip in a small group (maximum 10-15 persons per guide). Tickets for the metro is not included.

Please note:

Fitness level: Average fitness-level required. The walking distance is 1,5 to 2 hours.

Equipment: Hiking shoes or similar (sport shoes like sneakers) and comfortable clothing are required.

Special conditions: Minimum 3 persons. You can still book this experience if you are less than 3 persons as there might be other travelers participating.
