Havila shore excursion: Join this exciting nighttime snowmobile trip to Europe's northernmost area. Immerse yourself in nature and you may have the privilege of witnessing the famous Northern Lights.
Starting from the northernmost mainland town of Mehamn, you will drive to the snowmobile garage.
There, your guide and driver will provide you with the appropriate attire (suit, shoes, gloves, helmet) and will give you necessary safety information and briefing on driving a snowmobile.
Each participant drives their own snowmobile and therefore must have a valid driving licence.
Experience the snow-clad valleys, the fresh winter air and perhaps the mesmerising Northern Lights in the clear, starry sky.
This once in a lifetime trip through fascinating scenery ends at the top of the mountain where the bus will take you back down to Kjøllefjord. There, you reboard your Havila Voyage ship where your warm bed awaits.

Children up to 18 years can join the snow mobile tour as a passenger (Children under 12 must always ride with the guide).
Transportation by bus and snowmobile, special clothing, hot drinks
Special conditions: Minimum 4 participants. All drivers of snowmobiles must have a valid driver’s license. Two adults are not allowed to share one snowmobile. The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle. Good physical condition is necessary to participate.
Weather dependent: All outdoor activities are weather dependent and may be cancelled or replaced by more suitable alternatives should the conditions not permit to run the tour as planned. A full refund will be made for activities cancelled by the supplier due to weather conditions.
Northern Lights: Northern Lights observations are never guaranteed, sometimes it can be repeated several times during one evening and sometimes it simply stays away. Northern Lights observations are weather dependent; it needs to be clear sky in order to spot the Northern Lights.
