Elite Plaza Hotel is a luxury design hotel in the very city center of Gothenburg. Once housing the Svea Fire & Life Insurance Company in the late 1880’s, the building was developed by top architects of the era. The original features have been well preserved; from the beautiful stucco ceilings to the English mosaic floors.
All shelter deck (middle deck) cabins are located on the outside above the waterline with a window and open onto the deck. The cabins are charming and tastefully decorated, but small (the size of a sleeping compartment on a train). They are fitted with bunk beds and a washbasin with hot and cold water. Shared shower and toilet facilities are provided on all decks.
